Technica Engineering is a technology company specialized in the development, validation and verification of software and electronic solutions at the automotive sector. With a strong focus on technologies like Automotive Ethernet and the development of ECUS, we bring technical consulting services in areas like ADAS, on-board networks, getaways, and comfort and security functions.

We are currently offering you a position as a FullStack Developer in permanent employment in Vigo, Spain. The ideal candidate has experience in Backend development with Python and Django, as well as Frontend development using JavaScript and React.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Solid experience in Backend development, with strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework, applying best practices and modern design patterns.

  • Advanced knowledge in building and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient and scalable integrations.

  • Experience in implementing reusable components and responsive designs, using frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Material-UI.

  • Practical knowledge of React.js, with the ability to effectively integrate REST or GraphQL APIs into the frontend.

  • Proficient in version control systems like Git, working with repositories on GitHub or GitLab in collaborative environments.

  • Familiar with Docker and the use of containers for development, testing, and deployment environments.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Backend development with Python and Django.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Frontend development with React.js.

  • Intermediate-advanced English level (B2 or higher), with the ability to read technical documentation and communicate effectively in international teams.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Django REST framework

  • CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)

What will your tasks be?

  • Manage relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

  • Create reusable components and maintain modular code following best practices.

  • Create and manage Dockerfile and Docker-compose files for environment setup.

  • Integrate CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) processes to improve software delivery.

  • Identify and resolve code errors through debugging and testing.

  • Optimize application performance in both backend and frontend.
